Similar deal was available last year. No idea if the merch is profitable for resale or not.

FYI, winning the sweepstakes generates a 1099 along with a massive tax liability:
Three Prizes are available to be won, one for each Weekly Entry Period. Each winner, subject to verification, will receive McDonald’s food for Life (for the winner only), based on up to two meals per week for fifty years, awarded as one of the following options, at winner’s discretion.
Option A: a McGold Card with a value of $1,040 per year for fifty years, to be used at participating McDonald’s locations. Winner will also receive a check for $22,285 to help offset taxes on the Prize, for a total value of $74,285.
Option B: a McGold Card with a value of $1,040, a check for $50,960 and a check for $22,285 to help offset taxes on the Prize, for a total value of $74,285. The Winner will also receive the right (subject to the condition below to designate friends) to give three equivalent Prizes (excluding the money provided to the winner to help offset taxes) to three friends, bringing the total value of the entire Prize to $297,140.
The Prize option that the winner elects to receive will also be the option awarded to that winner’s selected friends (there is no mixing options) – excluding the money provided to the winner to help offset taxes. All money provided to help offset taxes on the Prize will be provided to the Prize winner only, who will receive a 1099 reporting the entire Prize value accepted by the Prize winner as income to the prize winner. For the purposes of this Appstakes, a friend is defined as any individual person who is 16 years of age or older and resides in the United States.
Yeah, most sweepstakes with a $50K prize are going to generate a 1099. But just take the checks, the IRS won’t turn down money just because McDonald’s gave it to you.
you mean take option B and pick 3 suckers?
can you take option A and claim losses from future medical bills to be incurred?
Just take the checks. You don’t have to designate friends, in the event you think your friend would be offended at being given a $50K check.
wonder how many $0.50 Double Cheeseburger can you buy in one go?
the weekend ones don’t seemed that great for the price or stomach satisfaction
Looks like just one. Hardly worth the trouble
There is still free Big Mac for signing up btw
these are practically the regular prices a year ago, lol inflation
