The new Chase Sapphire Reserve rollout isn’t going all that smoothly. Yesterday, we reported on users who cancelled their applications, but got the card anyway.
We’re now hearing from readers who were approved for the new card, and are seeing many outdated card details:
Update: I believe these issues are only for those who applied via referral link.
- Seems everyone/most are seeing the old card design and benefits initially upon approval. It seems that once card is delivered/activated/whatnot/few-days it gets updated with the new benefits, and you’ll see all of the correct details and benefits. If anyone is not getting this to update after a few days please let us know.
- Seems everyone/most are seeing a $550 in the card disclosures that come with the physical card. Presumably when the actual charge posts (I believe it’s the first day of the next calendar month) then it’ll post as $795.
- Seems everyone/most are seeing the 60,000 bonus on the bonus tracker. Hopefully that will get updated eventually, but Chase support hasn’t been helpful, per one reader who tried messaging them.
