You’ll want to stack these deals:
- Go through a portal. Best rate is 2x avios or 1.5% cash back (most portals exclude gift cards, but always worth a try.)
- Go through Visa Savings Edge for another 3% back
Normally I like to get 20% off on Hotels.com gift cards, but that mostly doesn’t seem possible anymore unfortunately. Still Amazon usually has bigger discounts but biggest limiting factor is how many you can purchase. Hotels.com accepts one gift card per booking, but you can combine multiple cards into a single card. There are also ways to stack discounted gift cards to earn an even bigger discount on Hotels.com, we discuss that here.
