[OOS] Newegg: $100 Lowe’s E-Gift for $90 + up to 6% Back

The Offer

Direct Link

  • Newegg is offering $100 Lowe’s digital gift card for just $90

The Fine Print

  • Limit 1
  • Ends on Monday, 10/23/17

Our Verdict

Stack this deal:

  • Get 3% back by using a Visa business card enrolled in Visa Savings Edge (e.g. Chase INK Visa). After you enroll the card in Visa Savings Edge, the 3% discount will automatically show up on your card as a statement credit.
  • Use a shopping portal, and hopefully it’ll track. Looks like 3% Ebates or 2x UR are the best options currently.
  • Of course, you’ll earn regular credit card rewards as well.

Bummer that there’s a limit of 1. You can order again after 48 hours, but these usually go out of stock quickly.

For the Visa Edge, do you need to click through the website or just purchase as usual? Couldn’t find anything on the page you linked to.

Nevermind, the email says the CB is automatic.

wow, that was too quick — AGAIN. Maybe it will re-load, doubt it. So much bad news hitting the ms space….. Wasted time on this, just adds to the depression afoot.

something’s fishy here….. didn’t see any indications of this deal in my newegg daily+ email…… except for THREE DAYS AGO…. and even there, when following the links, it indicates it was to expire last night…. and before I could do a screen shot of this, they changed the direction on the link….

sensing classic bait ‘n switch at work…. where newegg throws out a few dozen of these to bait folks to come to their miserable web site.

Deal “today” (if it ever really existed) lasted less than 3 hours from time SD posted it….

sour grapes.

DannyDealGuru had this deal on his web site — 3 days ago….. (matching info from my inbox daily newegg promos)…. and DDG noted then it was set to expire last night.

By contrast, it appears slickdeals incorrectly posted the deal as new early this morning (?), at which time it was already essentially DOA

Maybe I’m missing something here, yet I’ve been noticing that by the time deals get to “slickdeals,” (and then later here) they’re already stale.

Deal was due to expire and originally sold out quickly, then they added new stock and changed expiry date and again sold out quickly

Jedi, did you actually get one? At the time of your post, it had already been sold out an hour? (according to SD time stamps) Wondering just when Chuck posted this? (time stamps in order)
