Small little discount. I think Newegg has given portal credit for gift card purchases in the past, YMMV. Use Paypal with the Platinum card to use up your $30 monthly credit.

Worked for me! Got 3 with one card, declined with another.

It seems to be 2x per billing address. Tried creating new account with a different IP, name but same billing address and it’s cancelled.
Just gave a try:
1. It looks like max 2 card per order. I don’t know if you can place more than one order.
2. You can’t use Paypal for gift card. Tried and I got this, “This method is not available for gift cards, pre-orders, trade-in orders, subscriptions, or Will Call/UPS Pickup.” Chase has 5%paypal quarterly cashback. So unfortunately you can’t use here (but pretty sure you can use it elsewhere later during holiday season. not a big deal).
Overall, not that great deal as it appears.
What’s the $30 monthly credit in your post?
I googled that ” Effective January 2021, Amex has added a $30 per month statement credit for PayPal purchases through June 2021.” However, I don’t think this deal is stil around. Chunk might just copy and paste but forgot to remove these old words
