This healthcare information is cluttering the feed here. Has nothing to do with coupons, deals, credit cards, etc. Pretty sure we get enough alarms from… pretty much every other news source known to man. It’s not like the word isn’t out / isn’t widely enough broadcast. I come here to see what the blog actually purports to cover… keep it that way perhaps?

A lot of words to type for someone who purportedly doesn’t have time to deal with “clutter”

I initially subscribed to DoC as part of my online travel community, and New York is a top destination that I travel to. Your comment is cluttering information that I find essential to this blog.

Is this meaningless politicking/virtue signaling or is it actually enforceable?

There is a very significant psychological effect of the mandated quarantine in reducing travel from affected states

It’s being enforced at airports but not on surface travel.

Let’s keep it civil and non-political and talk about travel, and not be hateful toward any group of people.

Refusing to talk about politics is a political statement. Specifically, it’s a statement in favor of the status quo. And the status quo right now is not great.

Good point, FRED.

Oh wait, I guess your fake name doesn’t have any hilarious word play. Damn. I guess I’ll have to rely on the strength of my ideas to make political points.

and when the infection rates surge in the NE in late Fall / Winter…will the Southern States then put up their own quarantines? Quarantine tennis!

How are they going to enforce this, the honor system?

They have port authority at the New York airports enforcing it. You are required to make these filings. How do they enforce speed limits? Some people speed but sometimes people get caught and penalized.

Plenty of roads leading into the city, are they going to setup road blocks? Attach GPS monitors to your ankle to make sure you don’t leave the house? Port Authority at the airport has no way to know whether you leave the house after arrival. This is a useless restriction that has zero chance of succeeding beyond being a feel good measure.
