Our Verdict
These would be profitable for resale, even more so if you have good private rates or a card that earns at a high rate on office supply stores (or the Chase offer for 10% back, $10 maximum). Shame about the limit of 1, but can likely do multiple considering it’s an instant discount (just need to do different transactions).
A possible stacking opportunity is the Ebates 6% in-store offer for Office Depot/Max, using your registered Chase card with the 10% Chase Offer. The Ebates offer technically excludes GCs but sometimes tracks anyway. YMMV.
I went to three different ODOM stores today and only the second one tracked with Ebates. It has been so hit or miss for me I can’t count on it. It’s a nice little bonus when/if it posts though

Is it possible to stack ink 5x with the chase offer 10%?
I don’t see why not.
No because Chase offers are only available on personal cards and Ink is a Business card
I didn’t have the 10% offer on my chase ink so put $100 on the card with the chase offer and the rest on the ink (OD allows you to split payments). Not really stacking, but maximizing the return on each card.
YMMV on splitting — I was told no splits on gift cards.
I think the easy math is:
$100 gift card for $80 on the credit card.
80UR
$8 chase offer cashback
$80 selling to cardpool.
Net: $8 and 80 UR.
Awesome. Just picked up 2 gift cards for $160. Ended up buying a VGC with it. If only I could stack the free home mini still! Oh well, $40 profit per a ring up isn’t too shabby…
Does OD allow VGC purchase with its own GC or better yet can you buy Happy GC with OD GC?
My experience in the past was no to applying OD GC to vGC. (hard coded).

Come on dude. Please stop spreading false info unless you show your receipt. It’d be great for MS if it was true though.
Same or similar coupon is in most of the OD emails that come daily without any purchase. When I forget, my friendly OD staff usually volunteers to scan a 20% off at the register when I say gosh darn it, I left my coupon at home and describe it. Why purchase any GCs to get what can be had for free?.
You can save 20% now AND save 20% when paying with it…
