Anyone have tips for using the Happy gift cards? I have 2 with $25 each on them and I tried to use it to buy a $50 Panera gc, and they kept saying that I couldn’t use a gift card to buy more gift cards.
I had that comment when I bought my last batch yesterday but I told the cashier (who was the manager) it was a visa and it went through fine. He also mentioned that it wouldn’t go through if it was a gift card. You could insist on it being a visa or try another Panera or a different time of day to get a different cashier.
Normally I don’t let them see it so this was a rare occurrence, but I don’t know how you can do it with 2 x $25. IME they don’t autodrain at Panera, but that may have changed. And you can’t buy them separately or they won’t give you the bonus card.
Anyone know if you can put the bonus cards towards buying a full Panera gift card? Seems like it would be a good way to bank to bonuses so they can be used outside of June.
No, you cannot. Panera does not allow buying gift cards with gift cards.

This a pretty regular offer, last time they the very same offer in February I think.
