Update: Credits showing up for December, yay!
As everybody should know the American Express personal platinum card now comes with $15 in monthly Uber credits. This month a few readers have e-mailed me stating that their Uber credit hasn’t shown up, it turns out that those readers were only looking in their Ubereats app and not on the regular Uber app. Despite the credits not appearing within Ubereats they are still working fine for Ubereats purchases. It’s possible that this won’t always be the case and this is the first step in making this a reality but currently they are still working fine. My credit didn’t show up for March. Amex had me delete the card in the Uber app and re-add it. The Credit magically appeared.
Funny thing is I cancelled my Plat a few months ago and I just installed the UberEats the first time magically a $15 credit showed up in my account … might just be a phantom… we will see.

Receipt on Ubereats shows full price. Email receipt shows total after credits has applied. I have a pending charge on the card for the full price. Checked my credit balance and they took it off… Wondering if I should wait until the pending charges clear or call right now to dispute the charge..?
DP: Uber credit shows up on Uber but not UberEats. Just ordered and delivered. Credit applied after it was delivered. Paid with the Amex Plat.
Still wondering if the credit will apply if you use a different card as payment. Since the credit isn’t showing up on UberEats any longer, I’m wondering if Amex is treating it like their offers. Anyone here has the Uber credit show up on the Uber app and used a different form of payment for UberEats and got the credit to apply?
Just ordered from Ubereats, had two amex plats attached, credits showing in Uber app but not Uber eats. Credits did not apply at checkout or after e-mailed receipt. Sent a follow up e-mailed through Ubereats app. Will update.

DP: $15 Amex credit shows on regular Uber app but not on the UberEats app. Ordered foods on 10/30/2017 and the $15 Amex credit was applied on UberEats through email receipt after delivery is done. I also used the Amex Platinum card for payment.
got my card in october, downloaded both apps in october, added promo code for $5 off first 3 orders. credit only shows in uber app.
10/25 placed order, $5 off, then $15 off applied

Did you use the the Amex Plat as the default payment card also or a different credit card? I’m trying to see if the $15 credit will only apply if we use the Amex platinum as the card for payment.
DP: Oct 24. Credits already show up on regular Uber app. Ordered Uber eats, receipt shows credits were applied properly. I didn’t have to do anything (add/remove cards or whatever). Seems like they fixed their issue.
