About Pointimize

Pointimize is an award travel search engine, they let you do a number of things. For example:

Hotel award search:

Searches for rates in Cash, Cash + Points, and award night using Points
Shows real time award availability
Calculates redemption value based on real time search results
Compare with common valuation source
Integrates results from major booking sites
Supports transferable point systems (UR, MR, TYP) (Diamond Status needed)
Supports 3rd party hotel elite programs (AMEX FHR, Virtuoso, etc) and hotel elite status (Diamond Status needed)

Flight award search:

Searches for rates in Cash from airline and OTA, and award ticket using Miles, including all airline partner redemptions
Calculates redemption value based on real time search results
Supports transferable point systems (UR, MR, TYP, SPG) (Diamond Status needed)

The Competition

Pointimize has agreed to give every Doctor of Credit reader 150 days of Diamond status for free when they sign up (new users, must use the specialized link below). In addition they will be giving away 400 prizes to readers. Each prize includes one year of diamond status and a coupon redeemable for one piece of free luggage delivery from LuggAgent. Please note you must have already opened an account as of 10/31/2017 to be eligible for the one year of Diamond status.

There will be 400 prize winners, each winner will receive one year of Pointimize Diamond membership and one piece of free luggage delivery via LuggAgent
Pointimize is wholly responsible for providing the prizes mentioned above

Winners e-mails will be provided to Pointimize for the purpose of delivering the prizes
Winners will be officially announced on 10/31/17.
Each winner’s Diamond status will begin on November 1, 2017 and expire on October 31, 2018, provided, however, if a winner of a GO DIAMOND Award has received Diamond status prior to November 1, 2017, such winner’s Diamond Status Award will begin upon the expiration of such winner’s current Diamond status trial period and expire on the first anniversary thereof.
Pointimize will provide the email of each Pointimize User receiving the GO DIAMOND Award to LuggAgent. LuggAgent will send an email containing the LuggAgent Award to each winner on or before November 3, 2017.
Entries must be received between October 3rd 7am PST to October 5th 11:59pm PST or when the automatic entry system is no longer available, whatever is soonest
We reserve the right to modify or cancel this competition for any reason at any time

Why do you need my e-mail & name?

We need this information so we can alert the winners. Feel free to use a throw away e-mail address and name if you aren’t comfortable giving away that information. We also promise not to sell or spam your e-mail either (we may send you updates about future contests, but at this stage we won’t be doing this. If we do decide to do this, it’s easy to unsubscribe).

Why does gleam need authorization for my twitter/etc?

This is used to verify that you completed the action as listed. I understand some people aren’t comfortable with this and that’s fine, the problem is that it’s simply not manageable for me or Chuck to manually do competitions. If anybody has a viable alternative, I’d be happy to look into it.
