Priority Pass Adds Bambuza Restaurant To Sea-Tac Airport (SEA, North Satellite)

Update 9/15/19: The original menu we included was incorrect. I’ve uploaded the correct menu at the end of this post.

Priority Pass has added a new restaurant option to Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Priority Pass members and their guests can get a credit of up to $28 at this restaurant. The restaurant is open from 4:30AM until 23:30PM daily and is located in the North Satellite. Menu can be found below. You can view credit cards that offer complimentary priority pass access here. Keep in mind American Express cardholders with Priority Pass no longer get access to restaurants like this.

Ate here 2 days ago. Cashier gave me a death glare when I pulled out my PP card and said “you need to show me this card before you order!!”

Didn’t ask for boarding pass. Food was not too bad.

Just dine there and I don’t think this is accurate either. I don’t have the bar menu but I’m sending the restaurant menu.

Finally something to replace Floret, which I’m still bummed about losing, and the Alaska lounges (not so bummed about losing).

Went there at 430 this morning. They checked my boarding pass.
The wait was pretty long: about 30m for food even without a long line, so you may want to avoid if you’re in a rush and don’t want to chance it. Food was decent, though.

Went there during labor day. They had some kind of plastic, a dirty one, in my sandwich and didn’t even say they will make it again until I asked. Food was quite good until I bit onto that piece of plastic, so it was quite a bummer.

The menu is limited and different than main stream restaurant locations. But priority pass worked like a charm! Thanks for the heads up 😀

They didn’t care about To-Go orders. Wohooo!

Tried this on Tuesday, and even though the rules say PP doesn’t cover take-out, they didn’t seem to care. Food was good, not great. Service was a little slow but it was dinner time so the place was pretty busy.

Good for Seattle travelers. Speaking of Priority Pass, I’m rather amazed by the silence around the once top rated PP stop at Denver — the Timberline “Steaks & Grille”….. For about a month now, they’ve had neither — the grille has been shut down, and the only steak currently on the menu is cooked elsewhere a day or so before, trucked in (so a waiter fessed up), and (gently) re-heated to order. (as in microwaved — anything to avoid causing “smoke”?)

Was at the Timberline S… & G… twice over the past two weeks, and didn’t appreciate being lied to by a manager the first time (as of Frid. Aug. 23) — who claimed it was a malfunctioning fan would be fixed “tomorrow.” This past Sunday, was told flatly different tales about what was amiss — including the lead hostess telling everyone that the menu has changed (as in nothing grilled) and that those changes were permanent…. (I took a photo of the new awful menu)
When pressed, she placed blame on the airport and/or the city — something about an extension of the same regulation that shut down the next door smokers’ lounge to the grille itself. (e.g. the smoke)

Any other DoC readers been through Denver’s Timberline (no grille & steaks) lately? If not here, this sad development surely deserves some serious write-up somewhere. (negative fact-based comments to Timberline’s facebook page are being deleted.) Several comments at tripadvisor for Timberline echo my consternation here. Where’s the Denver paper on this?

Only had salad at Timberline, wasn’t not the best but not bad.

At the end of they day it is “free” food and way better than what you can expect from most (all?) PP lounges in the US, so I do appreciate that it is still in the PP network and that my PP card is (no longer) from Amex.

Visted earlier this year but just grabbed breakfast , flying to Denver in about 2 weeks, will check it out again flying in and out later in the day.

The Sea-Tac PP is a nice addition the last few flights in Aug, stopped at Centurion pathetic, hard to believe it’s supposed to be a premium lounge. SFO closer to expections. Amex PT is on life support
Will probably drop card till revamped.

Hopefully this restaurant last longer than the last PP locations at SeaTac. Annual fee is due soon, and still no Centurion at Denver, LHR, ORD, etc.

Last weekend their breakfast was also trucked in, today it’s back to normal. Not sure about their lunch menu, I get in and out to early. They seem to struggle a bit…
