This is a quick tip courtesy of emaG_eh7 but Hilton representatives can see free night award certificates on your account before you receive the e-mail. This might be useful if you have an upcoming trip but haven’t received the certificate yet. I never knew this, so apologies if you already did but hopefully other readers find this helpful.

how do i receive the certificate? i was told that it is sent out via email. but i never receive such email. i have to call in the make the representative to find it for me.
So on your Aspire anniversary, it usually take around 8-12 weeks to receive free night email from Amex. Does it mean it will be available sooner on Hilton account and you can get the certificate number by calling hilton reps?

This is true. Amex never sent me the email for the surpass fnc sub award. So I called Hilton directly. No need to call amex.
I found this out when i called in to book night 1 of my 2 night planned stay. I received an email for just one award but the lady said i had two! (i had just completed the 15k spend about a week ago). Was able to book both nights. Still haven’t received the award email 3 weeks later…

I think Marriott can do this too. A rep mentioned my free night award about a month before I got it (from the credit card, so I knew it was coming, but just didn’t know when) but the room was cheap enough I didn’t want to waste the certificate on that so I didn’t use it on that booking.
