Does anyone know how to get passed “There was an unknown error” and the rewards cost showing at full price? Been this way for a hotel I’m looking at since the start of this promo.

is it possible to call in and get the current reservation re-price at the discount rate?
I’ve tried to make a new booking instead but one of the date is out of award inventory..

As if it’s enough for anything… The only Radisson I’m interested in is Radisson Blu Polar Hotel, Spitsbergen, which cost 63750 a night, for the title of the north most chain hotel. While, just a hundred yards south, the second north most chain hotel, Funken Lodge only cost 6000 TYP…

6000 TYP? That’s a great funken deal.

But that’s the Radisson International program. If you only have points in the Radisson Americas program (which is totally separate now), you have to transfer the points from the Radisson Americas program to the Radisson International program just to be able to redeem at international Radisson properties.

has anyone written a good summary of how Americans can use their Radisson Americas points overseas? I assume I need to open a Radisson Int’l account and transfer them? A “how to guide” would be very useful. BTW, I assume once you transfer the points, you’d be entitled to the 15% discount?

check out the wiki in this flyertalk thread, it’s detailed described here

Radisson properties are much nicer in general out of America IMO

I don’t know why they split the two??! It’s quite a headache to go between the two accounts!

They split in two because they wanted to continue in the Americas. The main part of Radisson was bought a company that not allowed to do business in at least the USA, so if they hadn’t split, Radisson couldn’t have continued in the USA at all. So they had to find a separate buyer for Radisson Americas.
