  • Radisson Rewards (formerly Club Carlson) is offering up to 120,000 points for stays booked between March 12th and April 15th. Stays must also be completed by June 30th, 2018. You’ll receive 500 bonus points for every booking made with the app. The 120,000 bonus is broken down as follows:
    • Book & stay 2 nights: Earn 5,000 bonus points
    • Book & stay 5 nights: Earn 15,000 bonus points
    • Book & stay 10 nights: Earn 50,000 bonus points
    • Book & stay 20+ nights: Earn 120,000 bonus points

The Fine Print

  • By registering for and participating in the “More Reasons to Celebrate” promotion (“Promotion”), you acknowledge and you agree to these terms and conditions www.radissonrewards.com/celebrate. Promotion is valid on Eligible Night(s) booked from March 12, 2018 through April 15, 2018 and consumed from March 12, 2018 through June 30, 2018 (“Promotion Period”) at participating Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu®, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn® by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites® by Radisson hotels worldwide are required to participate (collectively, “Participating Properties”).
  • An “Eligible Night(s)” is a booking of at least one day reserved at an Eligible Rate and booked through an eligible source, as defined in the Radisson Rewards Terms and Conditions. Both the check-in and check-out dates of the Eligible Night(s) must take place during the Promotion Period.
  • To be eligible for the Promotion, you must: (i) be a Radisson Rewards (formerly Club Carlson) member; (ii) register for the Promotion; and (iii) provide your Radisson Rewards member number at the time of reservation or at check-in.
  • Stays or nights paid for by using Points or Points + Cash are not eligible for the Promotion.
  • You only need to register once, but you must register before checkout of your Eligible Stay for that stay to count for the Promotion. Requests for stays prior to Promotion registration to qualify for the promotion will not be honoured.
  • Points will usually be posted to a member’s account within five (5) days after the qualifying Eligible Night has been completed. In addition to the Bonus Points earned for consumed stays during the Promotion Period, an Eligible Member will earn the standard twenty (20) points issued per U.S. Dollar. Only one Radisson Rewards account may earn points for an Eligible Booking. Individual accounts only. Points earned during the Promotion Period will be capped at 120,000 bonus points per eligible member. Bonus points will be credited to the member’s account throughout the Promotion Period when the standard points are credited for the 2nd eligible night (5,000 bonus points), 5th eligible night (additional 10,000 bonus points), 10th eligible stay (additional 35,000 bonus points) and 20th eligible night (additional 70,000 bonus points). In addition, members can earn 500 bonus points for bookings made via the Radisson Rewards mobile app, these additional bonus points earned via the mobile app are not included in the 120,000 bonus point limit and can be earned on top of the point cap mentioned above.

Our Verdict

I always think it’s a good idea to sign up for these promotions even if I don’t have any immediate plans to stay with that brand, otherwise I often forget when booking stays. I probably have 20 nights of stays coming up, but 120,000 Radisson points isn’t really enticing enough to get me to change my bookings at this stage. Might be more useful for other people though.

Are they re-branding everything to Radisson now? I’m noticing many of the Country Inns by Carlson are now Country Inns by Radisson.

As of last week, they changed the name of their loyalty program from Club Carlson to Radisson Rewards. So yes, it seems like they’re re-branding
