Our Verdict
Better cards always sell out quickly. Remember to use a shopping portal, just keep in mind there are lifetime limits.
As a data point, I purchased a card from here and after I made a purchase, the original owner spent the rest of the card. (Was able to confirm with the merchant that the purchase was out of state)
Raise took a bit to respond but eventually refunded my purchase. My suggestion would be to use dynamically generated cards like Slide or Fluz to prevent similar issues.
A smarter scammer definitely could’ve gotten away with stealing a smaller amount off the card, as I didn’t monitor the balance closely but certainly realized when it was empty. Like if I bought a $50 Chipotle gift card and only used $10 at a time, I probably wouldn’t have noticed a missing $5 in the middle. Not worth the hassle for me to constantly monitor the balance after every use.
with what code?
This code works only for your first ever order
I think this 10% code is only for new customers. I just went through the checkout process using the Honey extension, and I got that error message. Raise always has a $10 off or 10/15% off your first order for new customers.
Is this valid for cash back gift cards or only discounted/pre-set value ones?
