Our Verdict
$50 is the best we’ve seen and is an excellent deal for a simple portal signup. You can also invite your spouse, friends, and family to get this deal and you’ll get $50 for referring them too.
You also have the option to earn your Rakuten cashback as Membership Rewards points instead which some people will find more valuable.
An easy way to meet the $50 spend requirement is to click through Rakuten to Giftcards.com and buy a $50 gift card from Visa, Starbucks, Instacart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target, etc. Of course there are hundreds of other merchants on Rakuten which work just as well, but buying a $50 Visa gift card is something almost anyone can find a way to use.
