- 1Password adds a ‘travel mode’ to keep your passwords safe at the border (HT: MG). Useful for travelers if you are on the 1Password eco-system. I’ve been planning on joing 1Password for quite some time, but transition is always tough so I keep pushing it off.

How to Hack the Generous Hulu Amex Offer: 9 Months of Live TV + Showtime for $25?!? by Milestomemories. We wrote about the $50 Hulu deal here and a way to stack it with Swagbucks here. I didn’t realize it was possible to get the Live TV charge bumped over $50, but Shawn found it’s possible by adding Showtime. If you have this Amex offer on lots of cards, you can get many months worth of Live TV for just a few dollars by swapping out the cards each month.

- Here’s a churner’s T-shirt sold on Amazon (HT: @travelwithgrant). You can use our Amazon affiliate link if you want to buy it 🙂
I feel like if your birthday happens to be on May 24th, you should be automatically exempt.
I’ll buy that 5/24 shirt when there’s a code that takes the $18.95 off.
Received an email from American Airlines with a targeted offer to earn EQM with many hotel partners. I saw Hilton was listed.
Earn 10% EQM on all AAdvantage miles earned at partner hotels through 7/31/17. Maximum 1,250 EQM can be earned during period. Wait approx 7 business days for EQM to post.
It was in my gmail promotional folder from AA this morning.
So, what is the “discussion post” which is password protected? I tried searching the newsletter and couldn’t find it. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/discussion-post/#comment-410313
Stop taking food from my family’s mouth Chuck, come on! I mean, stop posting stuff I was marking to post…tomorrow morning!
Hope you don’t go to work for TPG too #hinttoDoc
LOL, good you haven’t quit your day job yet 😉
I have a 200,000 point stay booked in late June. Incredibly awesome – straight cash money.
Re: The 1Password Travel Mode link
Even if you have to unlock your phone at the border, there are plenty of apps that require a password just to open the app which would safeguard the data? I’m not sure what the big deal is with “Travel Mode”.
I believe the idea is that Travel Mode can only be enabled or disabled online, independently from the phone itself. This way, if someone had complete access to your phone, either from coercing you to give up all passwords/open all apps, or from hacking your phone’s contents independently, your hidden data would remain safe.
At the border, the completely opened phone looks completely empty, because it is. This is far more secure than having a series of passwords and hoping the border agent will not bother to ask for the next one.
I would think the T-shirt come in different minimum spend sizes. Small would be around $500, medium $1000, and so forth. The appropriate number of $500 Visa gift cards would be in a velcro wallet pocket. Win-Win.
1Password is a godsend for churner.
Without 1Password, there’s no way I could’ve managed this many accounts / people (all family members’ cards) and not go crazy.
5/7 would recommend. Get it sooner than later cuz the price has only increased over the years. (been using for 3+ years)
There’s a deal starting 5/29 – 6/11 Simon Mall. Buy $150 Lowe’s GC get $20 5back visa card free. $50 GameStop get $10 VGC free. iTunes $150, $20 back free. Got the flyer on my weekly run. Great for anyone looking to buy stuff for Fathers day.
Vee, any way you can get me a picture or scan of the flyer? Thanks if you can, [email protected]
