Be careful with the Amtrak transfers. For normal bookings that are not Acela or sleeper cars, we get a bit less than 2.0 CPP.
I checked prices on the Northeast Regional and they came in at 2.9 cpp. The Acela came in at 2.5 cpp. I’m curious – what kind of routes are you seeing < 2 cpp on? One thing I can think of that would show < 2 cpp is if you compared the price of a *Saver* fare to the cheapest option with points, and that's because Saver fares aren't bookable with points.
So I love primitive technology channel, but how did it end up on this page?
I post things I like in the recap and I love primitive technology =)
