- Saving $20 to gamble on $300 by Miles Per Day. I almost always take the safe option.
- If you don’t have a Plastiq account it seems that signing up for an account, adding a bill but not paying it will trigger an extra 200 in fee free dollars at some stage in the future.
- Building (and viewing) teenage credit by Frequent Miler. Really good post, you can read more about how being added as an authorized user affects your credit here.
- TD Bank Now Offering Instant Credit Cards In Branch When You Lose Your Old One. Not sure why more card issuers don’t do this if they have physical branches.
TD cc transaction doesn’t post right away. It takes 2 business days to post. Bad part is that the CL won’t even decrease a little after you make a purchase. This is the very inconvenient part of it. To some ppl maybe it’s good to have the instant replacement card but I don’t see why other bank should follow. TD needs to fix a lot of things inside their product simply like making the scheduled bill pay visible and accessible through the mobile app.
In regards to teenage credit: If I get banned/blacklisted for MS, will it effect the future chance of the AU getting cards from the same bank?
Depends on the ban I guess, don’t know for sure.
TD Bank is really a great bank. Never had an issue in 6 years. Was my main checking until I moved to Northpointe a few months ago. Love that branches are open 7 days.
We added my son as an authorized user when he was 18-totally boosted his credit. He now has over 800 and he’s in his early 20’s 🙂
Ouch! Re: Saving $20 to gamble on $300 by Vinh! I usually dont like to gamble with these kind of things. I live in the Greater Boston Area and parking at the airport is not cheap. I have traveled for 2 long vacations (a little over 2 weeks altogether) this year and have had to pay over 400 dollars for “economy” parking costs. Sure we could have cut down costs by taking Uber (not an option as we have an infant and thus would need at least Uber XL which comes to about the same price without the convenience) OR asking a friend to pick up our car or drop us off but that required wither the friend parking the car at his place (risk) or him dropping the car at our place and then taking an Uber home.
After considering all, i just thought it was best to park at the airport
Ever looked into the Logan Express? I use the one in Framingham but there are others. Parking is $7/day and bus is $22 roundtrip. Anyone under 17 is free
Generally I’ll park for free if it’s during the day or at most one night – there’s a secret spot near Los Angeles Union Station next to a police station that has free parking – but I would not do it multiple nights. With Groupon/Living Social for parking you can usually find spots for $10 or less near most major airports.
