That PR release for the hotel management company doesn’t specify specific locations of any of the properties being pulled from Marriott but it seems like it’ll be a notable impact to their low and mid-range portfolio.
I used a Sam’s gift card on a DoorDash gift card on Samsclub online last week. Maybe it’s just Disney.
I don’t understand why the blogger says all WM>3PGC conversions are dead based on it not working for one brand. It may still work on every other brand, they don’t know because they just wanted to say the sky is falling and get some clicks.
[YMMV] I am able to purchase a Starbucks (3rd party) gift card from walmart.com using my stored Walmart gift card. I don’t expect any problems to doing the same from Walmart store as well.
In the MtM article, they mentioned about the purchase of Disney gift cards. There may be a restriction to using the Walmart gift card to purchase this specific 3rd party gift card.
Your link to the walmart article seems to be pointing to a dansdeal about a 1 year subscription. FYI.

Walmart is the wrong link – it goes to a free magazine?
