Update 3/15/26: confirmed
A Reddit user saw briefly in the Chase app the upcoming categories for the Freedom card for the second quarter of 2026:
- Amazon – could be a solid return for someone who does not have the Amazon 5% card or who values Ultimate Rewards highly. I can’t find the fine print yet, but in the past this has worked for Whole Foods as well. Personally, I might buy $1,500 in Amazon gift cards or reload (contains our affiliate link) to load up my Amazon balance.
- Chase Travel – 5x on Chase Travel which should mean 9x on the Freedom Flex since that card always earns 4x bonus on Chase Travel.
- Feeding America
It’s not showing anymore, and it typically doesn’t show until mid-March. It’s possible it was just an early version, but likely it got pushed out on 2/15 instead of 3/15 before they pulled it.
