Rocketmiles, a hotel booking website that allows you to earn airline miles instead of hotel points or cash back have added Singapore Airlines as a partner. This is Rocketmiles’ 24 airline partner (full list here) and they are offering a bonus to celebrate this new partnership.
The Offer
- Receive 3,000 Singapore Airlines Krisflyer miles as a first purchase bonus after you make your first booking with Rocketmiles. In addition to this you will earn 500-5,000 miles as normal per night.

- Only available for new Rocketmiles customers only.
- Valid until August 31st, 2015
- Limit one per customer
- Cannot be applied to existing bookings or retroactively applied.
Our Verdict
One thing I found interesting is that usually you earn a minimum of 1,000 miles per night, but it looks like bookings that are made for Singapore Airline Krisflyer miles have a minimum earning rate of 500 miles per night. It doesn’t look like any other airline partners have this lower minimum earning rate – but maybe this will change in the future.
A sign up bonus of 3,000 miles is pretty standard for Rocketmiles and they often offer 5,000 miles. Given that you can only get this bonus once, I’d recommend waiting for a higher sign up bonus. Rocketmiles is not the only website in this space, PointsHound & Kaligo are both direct competitors. I usually find that booking direct or though a third party site like Hotels.com offers better rates, but it might be worth doing for the sign up bonuses once.
