It appears that Capital One is set to launch a T-Mobile cobranded credit card. The following file was found in the T-Life app named ‘t_card_account_link’. It isn’t clear when a potential card would launch or what the benefits would be. T-Mobile previously launched ‘T-Money‘Â with the underlying accounts being transferred from Customers Bank to being held at Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC on April 1, 2025.
Hat tip to tmo.report
Much like that Apple Card, it’s a handicapped 1 trick pony when you get 5% back on Amazon card for purchase of device w/ free delivery (absent provider incentive) pair w/ CIC makes this not worth the inquiry.
What’s the point of this? Just sign up for a business account with T-Mobile and there are no credit card fees. Combine with 5% back with Ink Cash, then cash out the points at 1.25x PYB with Reserve, so effectively 6.25% back. I don’t see them beating that.
Tmobile doesn’t allow credit cards anymore. Only bank debit cards unless I am mistaken
You are mistaken; payments can still be made by credit card.
If they gave it a reasonable annual fee($95ish), allowed it to be used for Autopay with the autopay discount, and included the same Cell Phone coverage that the Venture X includes, would be interesting.
When one looks at the range of co-branded cards, how many are truly attractive (other than a SUB)? The reasonable expectation is that it will be unimpressive.
I wonder if Capital One was the first choice before Coastal Community Bank to take the T-Money portfolio?

T-Mobile has been interested in launching a branded credit card for some time. In 2022, they had a deal signed with Goldman Sachs.
Verizon and AT&T both have their own credit cards. T-Mobile’s will probably have similar benefits.
If the 2025 T-Mobile Tuesdays nerf is any sign, this card will be dogshit.
I hate the T-Life app so much, I just want to block scam callers, don’t make me click through ads to do so.
I have T-Mobile home internet and I have to go through that app to manage my Wi-Fi. If it weren’t for $25/month, I’d have disconnected it just based on the app. They had perfectly good standalone app for Wi-Fi management and they nerfed that and forced you to use this app.
download hint control for better management of t mo wifi
I have checked that but it doesn’t allow me to disable wifi for select devices which is my primary purpose.
As a parent I need to turn off wifi on my kids’ devices occasionally. I sometimes need to restart router too. So, I need to access wifi portal.
So sneaky! I remember when my Dad would remove bulbs from lights we left on. He also only allowed us to talk on the phone for as long as we could stand on one foot.
LOL, good ol’ days. Kids nowdays have been spoiled. I’ve been teaching them since they were toddlers that internet goes away on bedtime or when you’re not being nice.
I access my devices via my router app (Orbi). Can turn off access to certain devices, reboot router, etc. Have never used my ISP app for that.
Who uses ISP app for internet control?
It’s like saying I don’t use Spectrum app for my internet but use Linksys app for my Linksys router.
That’s how it works.
T-Mobile internet is provided by T-Mobile router, so have to use their app. Not for being ISP, but for the router.
Sorry, just trying to help. My backup is Tmobile but I control everything from Orbi app.
Yeah, thanks for trying. People have been giving me all sorts of advice all these years for this when it doesn’t work for me. I didn’t mean to spill their frustration over you. It’s very infuriating on the business decisions T-Mobile has been making last few years. If there was a better choice for me in the market, I’d kick them to the curb today.
Got it. Tmobile sucks for me but it’s only a backup. Good luck.
Use “HINT Control” app as an alternative.
