- 4 is the new 5: On cashback strategies. by Miles4more. Getting 5x or 5% is getting harder and harder, especially when you’re doing any sort of volume. Getting the extra 2% on American Express gift cards really does help – although there are a lot of cards that also earn 3x in some categories without caps that are good options as well.
- A Recent Citi Upgrade Offer & Why Upgrading Is a Terrible Decision by Miles to Memories. We’ve talked about upgrading credit cards before and when it does/doesn’t make sense. Looks like Citi is getting enough suckers to upgrade without getting any bonus that they are continuing this strategy.
