ShareClub (similar to Tiicker, Stockperks) gives you benefits with certain companies when you link your brokerage account and own shares in those companies. Some of the benefits are $5 off $25+ on Amazon when you own 10+ shares.
This doesn’t look as generous as the Tiicker & Stockperks offerings, but there does seem to be a lot more offerings available.
As with those other sites, I’d recommend buying the stock first and then adding the brokerage to help with tracking. With Tiicker and Stockperks though you can remove and re-add accounts, whereas here it’s been four hours and I can’t even see the linked account anywhere let alone tracking for the stocks I bought, or an option to add another account. Wish I’d foreseen that issue, but
Also, as others have noted, the offerings on the homepage are VERY deceptive: 73 companies are advertised, but only 41 show up even in the “companies” page, with only 41 rewards available. Maybe they’re out of stock or something…
Here’s the ones that caught my eye as potentially useful, although most of them have prohibitively high share requirements:
-AMC: free popcorn with ticket; 1 share AMC; unlimited uses
-Domino’s: $5 “credit back” on $35+; 100 shares DPZ; unlimited uses
-Amazon: $5 off $20; 100 shares AMZ; lim 1
-Uber Eats: $5 off $15 (description says 25% off); 5 shares UBER; lim 1 but it says “once per month”
-Uber: $5 off 1 ride; 5 shares UBER; lim 1 but it says “once per month”
$30k invested in Dominos is a small price to pay for $5 off your order!
There was also the “3M Holiday Gift Box” that was alternately described as “free” and “$27.” (https://shareclub.io/blog/3m-shareholder-perk) So I signed up for it to try it out, and the promo code does not work. From the T&Cs, apparently it expired at the end of 2022, SIX months ago. LOL
Pretty sketchy. Tiicker is much better.
Nice self-promotion, Chris!
The Apple benefit explicitly says both New and Existing users but when attempting to redeem it is in fact for new users only
“Some of the benefits are $5 off $25+ on Amazon when you own 10+ shares.”
So, how many times can you order from Amazon and get this deal? Is there a catch that I am missing?
I assume it’s just once but don’t know for sure.
Very, very bait and switch.
They list a number of perks (Starbucks being one that I quickly noticed) on the landing page but don’t actually have them available when you sign up and browse the real offers.
That doesn’t seem legal
What is the starbucks offer? Is it actually available when you sign up?
Says $5 to your Starbucks balance every quarter but you can’t see the conditions without signing up.
So with this, I can buy Bed Bath & Beyond stock and get a Bed Bath & Beyond gift card! I’m in for two!
