Car rental service Silver Car has launched a loyalty program. Let’s take a look at the new program:
- Earn 1 point per $1 spent (excluding taxes & fees)
- Points expire after five years of inactivity
- Enrollment is automatic
- No loyalty tiers
- Points seem to be worth around 10¢ per point
Personally I never use Silver Car as I rarely rent cars, but I know some people absolutely love them. This seems to be basically a 9-10% discount on future rentals.
