Our Verdict
We post these sales as both Southwest & JetBlue’s reward programs have the award tickets tied to the cash value of each ticket.
Had to book a one way flight on Spirit for June last week… Now it’s down $50 from what I paid and I want to be done with the internet today.
Check your flights, wife got forced from a $134 flight to one that was down to $49 at one point. Guessing it was because of rearranging flights concerning the MAX’s. Had to call and get compensated, barely covered the fare difference and it’s still over a month away till departure. Now the same flight we passed on is up to $150, fortunately we booked with points so we’ll price watch it and rebook.
You missed Alaska too. There are sales from SFO->LAX for $39 for example. When stacked with CNB/Ritz, it was $53 RT for 2 person 🙂
Which days are available? Can’t find the same rate between LAX(nearby airports) and SFO(nearby airports)
Where are you seeing $39 on Alaska? Looking now and dont see SFO -> LAX for less than $59
