Southwest Schedule Extended Until November 2nd, 2019

Southwest periodically make flights for further in the future available. You can now book flights until November 2, 2019. On May 23, 2019 the schedule will be extended again for flights until January 5, 2020. This is the first time the schedule has been extended since flights to Hawaii went on sale, so hopefully there are some good deals there.

Southwest has a pretty good cancellation/refunds policy, depending on the fare you’ve booked you’ll either receive a credit towards a future flight(Wanna Get Away) or cash refund (Business Select or Anytime – returned to credit card if you used one). That means it’s often best to book flights as soon as they become available and periodically check to see if the price has decreased, if it has you can click ‘change flight’.

Crazy, most all of the flights locally already sold out for wanna get away for most of my interested destinations. What purpose does southwest serve if multiple routes literally sell out in about 12 hours?
