Our Verdict

Normally you get 10 points per $1 spent and $20 costs 18,000 points. Walgreens only sell their own gift cards online and they don’t seem to be excluded from this promotion, and I can’t seem to find if they are excluded normally as part of the rewards program or not. Walgreens giftcards sell for 79.5% of facevalue, so you could resell the $60 gift card for $47.7 and then have $20 in points plus whatever credit card rewards you’d normally earn. Don’t really think it’s worth it for a one off, but maybe if you need to buy some products this deal could be useful. Giftcards seem to be excluded from earning on shopping portals, but always worth a try.
