[Expired] Sprint $15/mo. Unlimited Data, Talk, Text Cellular Plan

Update 6/14/18: Sprint announced they are ending the deal Friday night at 11:59 p.m. ET, citing heavy demand from customers. (My personal take is that they always planned on ending it then, and are trying to entice people to jump in on this ‘too-good-to-be-true’ deal.)

Our Verdict

They don’t state if the $15 monthly rate will expire or continue forever – I’m sure it’ll last for at least a year, and it might continue indefinitely.

Most people will do better taking advantage of this Sprint offer to get free Unlimited data. That plan even includes 10 GB of hotspot capabilities and faster speeds which this $15 plan does not include. There may be some who are not eligible for the free plan and can take advantage of the $15 plan, but it seems a bit odd to me that they’re running these offer concurrently.

The other advantage of the $15 plan is that it could last forever. My take is that nothing is forever (e.g. you might be somewhere with bad Sprint service, etc.) and it makes more sense to take the free line offer if your willing to make the change to Sprint, but to each their own.
