Yeah, I have a family member who qualifies for Groupon’s 25% student discount, and you can combine that discount with their “extra sale” prices (which they run every few days) for a nice discount — and then use these discounted Groupon gift cards on top of it. With this trifecta, the Groupon prices get extremely low. Groupon offerings tend to be slim, but we go through about 50 bucks of Groupon gift cards in our travels every few months. Given what inflation is doing to restaurant and activities prices, these purchases often don’t make sense to us without deep discounts.
