Both are back in stock, don’t expect this to last. Thanks to Miles to Memories for pointing this out.
The Offer
Direct link for eGiftcards / mailed gift cards (our links, keep in mind portals don’t pay out on gift card purchases. I doubt we will get paid either).
- Staples are selling $50 Toys R Us gift cards at a discount:
- $40 for eGiftcards (limit of three) (currently sold out)
- $41.99 for physical gift cards (no limit, was able to add 10 to cart)
The Fine Print
- Limit of three seems to be on the eGiftcards only
- Valid until December 3rd, 2016
Our Verdict
Highest public resale rate is 81.5% for phyiscal and 80% for eGiftcards, but GCW Trading Club is listed at 86%+. Either way these are basically a break even before you take into account credit card rewards (lots of cards earn 5% cash back on office supply store purchases). Could also be a way to unload the $20 off $100+ American Express offer as well.
We’re sorry, the following item is out of stock.
Grabbed 10 physical cards. Let’s see if they cancel my order like last time
Goodluck!
Physical Card – Sold Out
physical gift cards
also sold out.
They hard coded the registers at least at my Toysrus sometime last year. Because I did the loop of Toysrus to Ebay to Toysrus to Ebay a bunch of times, then sometime in November of last year it spit it out, took off the non-GC part of the purchase and then stopped and asked for a different tender. Cashier let me swipe the gift card without a problem, just didn’t work.
e-cards are sold out
Updated
Toys R Us egifts showing up out of stock already.
Would I be able to buy Disney gift cards in store or online with a toysrus gift card?
I would like to know the answer to this as well…is Toys R Us hard coded to not accept 3rd party using their gift card or was that for only Visa gc last year this time?
