Just called 866-840-4940, waited for about 5mins before speaking to an executive. Told that the bonus wasnt credited. He added to my card in couple of seconds and BOOM!

Odd I found this in my iPad app, but not my phone. I was logged into the same account on both. I don’t go to Starbucks very often, but I had a 5% deal on my Bank of America credit card. I bought a $15 card, sent to myself then realized I used the wrong card (my Citi Double Cash). Yes, it’s only 45¢, but it’s annoying to mess up an easy bonus.
Let us know if that earns 1+1%? Per the new terms, gift cards are excluded.

Was finally able to get this to work. Kept getting errors despite adding different mastercards. I was able to use the website to add my double cash and then complete the purchase using the phone app. Received email confirmation within 30 seconds! Thanks, DoC!!

Just sent a egc $15 (select Others amount) with Citi DC even though offer did not appear on app nor receive email. $5 bonus received immediately.

Wouldn’t it be more? $5 from this offer and $1.50 from the 10% BankAmeriDeal totals to $6.50 back so about 43%?
Don’t think so, the $5 is a GC not cash. You’re essentially buying $20 worth of Starbucks GCs for $13.50 ($15-$1.50 from BankAmeriDeal).

Same here. Try adding the card to your account first. Then, go back a d try the purchase. Worked for me.
