Swagbucks: Sign Up For IdentityForce & Earn 4,250 Swagbucks (Worth $42.50) – $26.52 Money Maker

Update 12/2/19: Now offering 4,250 Swagbucks and only costing $9.95 per month making this deal more profitable (although now need to stay subscribed for two months so works out about the same). Hat tip to David

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Swagbucks is offering 3,600 Swagbucks when you sign up for IdentityForce. You get a 14 day free trial and then it’s $14.95 per month

The Fine Print

  • SB will appear as Pending for 32 days.
  • Must sign up for Identity Force UltraSecure or Identity Force UltraSecure+Credit to earn SB.
  • Must enter valid sign-up information, including credit card information and SSN to earn SB.
  • SB will be revoked for canceled or incomplete subscriptions.
  • Offer may only be redeemed once (1) per user.

Our Verdict

My reading of the terms is that you should be able to cancel after the free trial, but it’s probably safer to pay for an additional month just to be sure. If you pay for a month for $15 this is still a $21 money maker. All that being said, the terms are somewhat vague so I’m not sure if it’s actually worth doing this offer or not. I’d probably be prepared to fight Swagbucks if it doesn’t post properly, because of that and the fact you need to give IdentityForce a lot of information I’ll be giving this offer a miss. If you’re new to Swagbucks then please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

Swagbucks has been tracking a lot of MM offers lately.
It’s becoming a scam to make you fork out the “trial” payment.

Gadget 🕵️

I think you meant HASN’T vs has. And, I noticed that on one offer lately. After I submitted a ticket and a bunch of screenshots, they did research it, and credit did it…. but that was a hassle.

no way to give SSN….these type of deals should not be encouraged.

TheTaxman_Cometh

I started signing up and quit as soon as it asked for full SSN. If cardmatch can find offers with last 4, this shouldn’t need the full thing.

Neil Degrasse

it’s not like China and the dark web doesn’t already have 70% of Americans SSNs. In the future, we’re going to need a new SSN system. This isn’t working. It’s a dumb outdated system.

Gadget 🕵️

Cardmatch is the pinnacle of security now? So, under your assessment, everyone should be able to file taxes, open new bank accounts or credit cards with just a last 4?

Let’s try this:

Go to my.equifax.com
freecreditscore.com
creditkarma.com

Let me know how many let you signup with just last 4.

You do realize this is a protection to you, by the way? Do you want everyone that can remember the last 4 digits of your SSN to be able to signup for monitoring of your accounts?

Trevor
Trevor

I’m pretty sure I only provided the last 4 when I signed up with CK a few years ago. I would have noped out of the signup if they asked for the full SSN.

Gadget 🕵️

You are correct, per the help file. Great, so as a service that sells your information to creditors, they are able to afford to research your remaining digits. https://help.creditkarma.com/hc/en-us/articles/205842950-I-m-having-trouble-signing-up-for-Credit-Karma

Gadget 🕵️

If this was a company this just started up last month, yeah, I would say stay away. Not the case.

Do I like this company? No. Just like any insurance, they are out to collect from many, and pay as little as possible. The commodity they sell is fear. They do provide a service, yes,… and if that helps someone sleep better, maybe the fee is justified. But, they aren’t a scam.

There are hundreds of reviews online, but if I had to sum them up in a couple a words and I was talking to a friend, just like LifeLock, but lesser known.

Signed up and nothing on Activity

I signed up at 10/26 1:35am PT – nothing yet

I signed up for 9.99 monthly plan yesterday night and still, nothing shows up in my activity. I sent an email a couple of hours after with proof of purchase. I will follow up with them tomorrow.

I signed up and not tracking. About to submit a Swagbucks ticket. Where did you guys find an “order number” for Identiyy Force? I can’t find any.

IK
IK

signed up last night. nothing… what category are you guys submitting tickets for this under? shopping? this is not listed in their ‘Offers’ category…

Gadget 🕵️

I may have figured out why these recent SB offers are not tracking properly. When you click DoC’s direct link to offer, the page it brings you to has an instant popup that says “No coupon code required – Shop now at IdentityForce to save!” I believe you need to close that popup window!!!

Then click the “Shop Now” button on the left, and it takes you to https://secure.identityforce.com/sales_landing/step2?offer=SwagBucksusc&SSAID=709810&sscid=a1k3_o0g9j&asid=50050. This link has obvious SB coding.

If you just use the first popup, you go to entirely different page, “https://secure.identityforce.com/sales_landing?offer=sasuspc&SSAID=709810&sscid=a1k3_o0lvr&asid=50050”

Bottom-line, I suggest everyone close to pop-up, and click SHOP NOW. This could explain why SB isn’t getting notification of a signup.

I am debating if I want to try to prove it by signing up. William Charles

EDIT: And, when I do a Swagbucks web search for the offer, it goes to “https://secure.identityforce.com/sales_landing/step2?offer=SwagBucksusc&SSAID=709810&sscid=a1k3_o0xz6&asid=50050”

Another obvious SB-tied offer link.

Hey Gadget, thx for doing some research on this (I’m on the fence myself about signing up).

Quick question: DoC writes “You get a 14 day free trial and then it’s $14.95 per month” – all I see is a $9.99 or $17.99 offer without a free trial?

Gadget 🕵️

Yeah, I am looking at that too now… SB sucks. I might be wrong. I am not sure either because yeah, if you go my route, then the offer is different. But the websearch from SB said 3600SB…. just no trial.

I use incognito, w/o DoC’s link and I still have trouble tracking. About 30% success rate. And a 10% success rate after complaining about the missing claims

Gadget - Bank Bonus Geek 🕵️

I have an 80% success rate first time thru on maybe 10-15 deals, and had 100% success after complaining, but of course that is a pain in the ass. I normally only do the bigger MM ones, but every once in awhile I latch onto the chump change. I try to do my due diligence before, click thru all the links, look at the codes in the link, read the terms about 5 times, like I did here back in October when I took a pass on this deal, as the links didn’t make sense to use the Free Trial when the offer made no mention of that being allowed. When I am ready to do the deal, I start fresh, clear cache, and make my way through the links like a “normal person” would for the 1st time. Logging into SB, searching for the offer, etc.

Got the SB pending email after 14 hours; FYI for anyone panicking after doing the deal!

SpicyPadThai

Welp. It’s been 4 days and still no sb pending

Neil Degrasse

Head’s up!

My Swagbucks eventually showed up under activity (it took like 10 hours).

And I signed up for the Identity Force 14-day free trial. So I was expecting to have 14 days free first. But just two days later now I see a $14.95 charge on my card by Sontiq (I Google’d and they own Identity Force).

Everyone should check your credit card statements. Am I the only one being charged $14.95 immediately, even though we signed up for a 14-day free trial?

To those who have been signing up Swagbucks offer of this kind, if the term says ‘ SB will be pending for 32 days’ . Can you share your experience if you cancel the subscription/stop the renew before 32nd day? In other words, you only did the initial/first payment, will they remove the SB points?

Neil Degrasse
Neil Degrasse

I’m curious too. I’m not too familiar with Swagbucks (only done about 3 deals in the past). Do we need to just let the first month payment go through? Otherwise, we likely won’t get the Swagbucks after 32 days if we cancel before the 14 days?

SpicyPadThai
SpicyPadThai

Yes. It happened to me doing the BlueHost deal. After the initial purchase, SB went pending for 60 days but I was curious and I canceled my subscription before the 60 day period and my SB was gone the next day.

Neil Degrasse
Neil Degrasse

You guys who had the Swagbucks from this Identity Force deal show up as pending, can you double check to see if the Swagbucks are still there?

For me, the Swagbucks showed up as pending. I’m not sure when they disappeared. But in my Swagbucks account, I no longer see them pending. :/ :/

I’ve already been charged for 1 month of Identity Force and haven’t canceled. Do I need to e-mail Swagbucks?

This is showing at 4250SB for me now. Also only 7.99 a month. William Charles

Burton

Nice find. Direct link in post above didn’t work for me but if you log in and then do a sb web search for “identity” it shows up.

Per the terms it looks like we’ll need to pay for 2 mo making this a $26.52 money maker or slightly more if you value SB at more than 1c.

*Must be a new customer and stay subscribed for 32 days to receive your reward. SB will appear as Pending for 32 days.

Note what Burton said, might want to update the update language…

Also, I’m curious if anyone has tried signing up through TopCashBack.

I didn’t find any reference to them in the comments, but they’re currently giving $36.75 and I know people have more issues with Swagbucks tracking vs TCB, so I was thinking about giving it a try since it’s only a $5.75 difference which seems worth it to me.

Only problem I see here is the TCB link doesn’t include the discounted rate, so you’d have to hope it tracks with the free trial and then cancel before the monthly fee posts, but if that does work, it makes TCB a superior offer since the Swagbucks offer doesn’t have at trial and you’d have to at least cover 2 months.

Mypoints at 8500 pts (around $57) is the best offer. The fine print of “stay subscribed for 30 days to receive your reward” means only one payment required, right?

Steadycash
Steadycash

I tried this instead. 8500 points posted right away as pending. This makes it way worth it if the points come through. I will keep 2 months just to be safe at $7.99 per month its not a huge deal.

SpicyPadThai

I’m still fighting for this offer to get credited when it was 3000SB.

Signed up on 12/2. Immediately showed up as pending. Charge was accepted. Haven’t finished registration where you need to enter your SSN. wondering if I will get paid out without finishing.

Swagbucks is the worst. Still no pending for Lifelock promo. Help center still hasn’t replied back to my help ticket. Never using swagbucks again.

Same for me and my friend. We use iPhone, don’t know if that is the cause.
But this offer tracked quickly for both

My lifelock tracked within a few hours :/ I didn’t use a phone either though

Per the terms: Must be a new customer and stay subscribed for 32 days to receive your reward. SB will appear as Pending for 32 days.

You can also sign up for the Ultrasecure ($7.99/mo) instead of the $15.99/mo option. This makes it a $34.51 offer
