The Offer
The Swych app has another Lowe’s deal for Doctorofcredit readers. This deal is for gifting only, not for self-purchase. You can send to a friend, relative, or whoever has/creates a Swych account.
- Get $115 Lowe’s e-gift card for $99 + free $2 Swych credit for a future purchase + 5x INK points
Here’s how to go about doing this deal:
- Choose the Friend option; either allow the app access to your contacts or X that out and input a contact’s name/number in Swych
- After doing that, find the Appliance gift card option (should be second card down)
- Send someone a gift of $100 Appliance gift card with mobile delivery (email won’t work)
- Use promo code: kitchenluv at checkout to bring the cost down to $99; this promo code will also get you $2 in Swych points
- Use Chase INK with Paypal to pay and get 5x points; or use Discover with Amazon Pay for 5%
- The person who receives the gift can redeem the $100 Appliance gift card for one of the following:
- $115 Lowe’s gift card
- $108 Sears gift card
In the end, it’ll cost $99 for $115 in Lowe’s, plus you’ll net 5x INK and you’ll have $2 for a future purchase. (This credit might sometimes even work with discounted gift card promotions on Swych.)
The Fine Print
- Limit 1 per Swych account
- While supplies last
- Valid for new and existing users
Our Verdict
Confusing deal, if you have someone to send a gift, it works out well. Disclosure: we get a commission if you do this deal. Update: a reader says that it’s coming up as a $99.90 charge, not $99.
DP: I think buying too many GCs on Swych might get your account flagged – mine was disabled today. Only thing that might have triggered it was buying 3x$50 GCs yesterday because the largest one I could purchase was that amount. Trying to contact them via email to see what’s up.
They have a daily limit (24 hr to the min)
Do you know what it is?
They said they’ll be re-enabling my account but it hasn’t happened yet.
or use amazon pay with discover to get 5% cashback
Ah, yeah, I”ll add that.
Thanks guys. Btw it is actually $99.90 not $99.
Hmm, that’s odd. I’ll update the post.
