Recently became a T-Mobile customer and have yet to do a T-Mobile Tuesday. How do the free items in-store work? Do I just go in, verify that I’m a member, and they give you one if it’s still in stock? Is there typically a long line for this? What other cool things have they given out in-store in the past?
You need to install the T-Mobile Tuesdays app on your phone. It will send a text to your T-Mobile number to verify you’re on a T-Mobile line, then you’ll be “logged in” to the app, able to claim and redeem all the free stuff and discounts.
To get the free backpack(or other similar items) the app will verify to the employee that you are a member, and that you haven’t already claimed one. Just don’t hit the “Redeem” button until the employee says to do so.
There is usually no line, picking up a free item is quick(just show the app redeem screen, and they give it to you, done), and yes, they do tend to run out of stock during the day. I assume when they run out varies depending on how busy the store is, I’ve seen them generally run out on Tuesday afternoon, but it varies. You can call the store and ask if they have any items left. If you really want the item, get there around when the store opens.
Some free items they’ve given away in the past: gloves, hat, large grill spatula, umbrella, travel/airplane pillow, towel, blanket, “bento box”(plastic container with included plastic silverware), drink tumbler, insulated lunch/grocery bag, bluetooth speaker
