HEY Ds-O-C:

Not to be too hyperbolic here, yet: won’t you all please set up an avenue whereby you could all make it easy to fund from your readers these advances??!!

And, please, the Gates Found is now saying that a life can be saved for a thousand bucks. For ever. These have repurcussions FOR GENERATIONS AND GENERATIONS. Easy donation if one wants: to the Gates foundation!

LET US ALL EVEN IMAGINE whether or not we would contemplate for two seconds whether we would literally and/or symbollically spend a grand for the future lives of our (equivalent) mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers and aunts and uncles and daughters and sons and cousins and …. ..hey, i’m going to include here some dogs (and other animals) that i’d include in the most amazing beings I’ve ever had the pleasure and great good fortune to know…

I know you can do it..
And I also know the NICU Fund does the same, with absolutely no overhead to contributions.

OK, there is also a foundation for TWO thousand dollars… if you don’t… ok, ex-boss, ex-wife…

Ok, NO, there absolutely is not (even if someone says that there should be)… ;)))

Overheard psychotherapist Vader mumbling while seeing this client, “the mental illness is strong with this one”.

For others reading this post, and others like it: (the otherwise amazing) Ds-o-C push these posts in order to feed starving Americans** –yes, with these great deals at (HOLY FUCK, TACO BELL??!!) wonderfully nutritious outlets.

This Intensive Care nurse calls, and will continue to call, complete and utter bullshit while these two fucks (in this circumstance) try to continue to pass this utter bullshit. Hey, a few facts for a refreshing change: (in the total zero chance such a starving reader is reading this travel and deals blog –and I will not even waste all of our times mentioning that Krogers and Safeway are DESPERATE for workers right now at 15-20 bucks an hour***– yet I know how irresistable the writings of Will and Chuck are): a very inexpensive and fully nutritious meal is to combine beans and rice and canned tomatoes. A few DAYS worth for 2 dollars, max.

YET REALLY, LET’S NOT BE LIARS or FRAUDS, LET’S HAVE A MODICUM OF HONESTY: If you two keep this up, ima gonna start getting a little more close to the bone: and it may involve for whom you bend over in these times when the great citizens of this country need support, in contrast to the multi-national corporations who some floggers chose to have pay their exorbitant bills.. while, well, willingly unbuckling their pants…

Btw folks, when you are thinking about which class of service you chose to fly into wonderful lands, never forget that you can, literally, save one’s life for a thousand dollars. Forever, for their whole life. And thereby change the course of the world, for generations, and generations… Fact.. Or, of course, you can support complete and utter bullshit of Will and Chuck feeding starving Americans via teaching them ‘to fish’ at Taco Bell. ****

**supposedly in their utter cognitive-bullshit rationanization
***apologies for the intl readers… yet I have no doubt you’d do so much better in this great country.. perhaps ignorant fscists who vote for a treasonous-moscow-idiot could GTF out of this great country, and you wonderfuls could get the eff in?? ;)) welcome
****Jesus would be proud, wouldn’t he?? Praise an utterly shit multi-national corporation, as your neighbor…

Unless they’re closed for pick up because they don’t want anyone entering the store, which I would totally understand, if I ever have the thought of buying anything at a Taco Bell, I’ll take this as a message to non-car drivers, and not give them my business. Even though there’s none near me, the food is overwhelmingly garbage, and I wouldn’t want this if they gave it to me for free anyway.

Everyone should be supporting their favorite independently-owned local restaurants right now, not chains. You can buy giftcards or just donate directly if you have the means. If you don’t, there won’t be any left when this crisis is over.

Most of these franchises like Taco Bell are locally owned. Just because they have a national name doesn’t mean they aren’t a small business owned by someone in your community.

Sure, great. Patronize a local place by buying a meal or a gift card or even donating. Then swing by taco Bell and get a free taco. How does that hurt the local guy?

Anyone else having ethical trouble going through with this? I mean I’m the grandson of Ebenezer Scrooge. I’m the guy who reviews every single restaurant within 10 miles of his house that gives free birthday stuff and stops at every single one of them. But 2nd to the concern of just avoiding people there is a sliver of mercy towards revenue hurting restaurants and franchises.

Restaurants are hurting financially right now even if they aren’t giving away free food. What’s your quandary?

Agreed, I’m getting emails for my free birthday offers now, which I won’t be using.

Beyond any ethical issues, think about the gastrointestinal ramifications of eating something called “Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos.” Then think about the fact that it’s from Taco Bell (run for the bathroom), it’s free, and it’s offered during a global pandemic.

The big chains will have no trouble surviving this. Hell, they’ll probably get a nice chunk of the corporate bailout money.

You should be supporting your favorite local independently-owned restaurants right now.

I’m sorry, I just don’t see this as an either/or thing. We generally do most of our own cooking at home, with restaurants being an occasional splurge. COVID has maybe enhanced this, though yesterday we spent more than $50 on takeout for dinner from our favorite local BBQ joint. But my lunches are generally leftovers, a microwave 30¢ burrito from the grocery or a can of soup. So you’re saying if I swing through Taco Hell to get a Free Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos instead of cranking open a can of soup that this is somehow going to drive a local restaurant out of business?

I plan to enjoy my Free Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos tomorrow, and thank William for posting it!
