Hmm for a second I thought Taco Bell and Papa John’s had merged!
Downloaded the Taco John’s app while out in Wyoming recently. Actually like the restaurant….. (much better than TB) But this was by far the single most miserable restaurant app I’ve ever had the misfortune to use….. (total waste of time…. Local TJ’s didn’t have wifi, so an order we’d made double-failed. Restaurant employees clueless — they’d never seen the app before — and no Sprint cell coverage in 98% of Wyoming — which btw, is where TJ’s HQ is located…. Had downloaded and tried the TJ’s app from the next door hotel room, but what a mistake…. even charged us for food we never got, and there was no number to call…. at least not then.)
Maybe this a promo to get folks to try a new app — that “fixes” the previous disaster. This promo may be “free” — but be careful about getting singed by a crappy app. (Not all TJ’s locations will be able to serve what the app dishes up)
