I used the $50 off $50 today online and the order was immediately cancelled with no explanations except “issues from our end”. So not my fault. However, the coupon is no longer available. They are saying this is a one-time use only and cannot be reissued. Do ppl have the same experience?

when you say “they are saying” do you mean you tried it again online and it didn’t work the second time, maybe you got a message the coupon was no good? If you called customer service then they should most likely fix that for you by mailing a new coupon or somthing similar. If you called and they told you too bad then you need to call again and try with someone else on the phone. That sounds really sucky of them.

I called and the representative said they could only do $20 off instead. Then I escalated to a specialist, who gladly applied the $50 for a new order I placed and made sure it went through. The wait for this specialist is very long, ~1 hour though.

Good idea. I used mine at the Optical Shop. And the glasses were very reasonable to begin with.

I use discounted Target gift cards at the in-store CVS pharmacy when I pick up prescriptions.

Still have a bunch left on Target GCs from this same deal when they ran it a few months ago. Walmart is 10-20% cheaper for most of the stuff that I buy so I find it easier just to buy from there than try to mess around with all this Target Circle nonsense and Target cash. Target is not always running deals on the items when I need them and that is not an issue with Walmart. And some of the Target Circle deals have strange restrictions like you have to do in store pickup and cannot just go get the item of the shelf yourself.

My personal sense is that Target has started just jacking up the prices of everything at least 10% and then making people think they are getting a deal by using all these “discounts”. It reminds me a lot of the tactics that Kohl’s uses to try and bait customers and get them trapped with Kohl’s cash.

Stop spamming same crap with different names. “cj” or whatever. Not sure if you work for walmart or something.

your response to him makes me think you work for target more than him working for walmart.

or maybe he works for walmart and you work for target and you were both hired just to monitor this thread. it is the only logical explanation.

this thread could make or break the entire annual sales figures for both corporations.

For most things Walmart is cheaper, but this 10% deal gets you a discount on items normally restricted from coupons (i.e Apple, Lego).

Yes those restrictions are strange, annoying and nonsensical.

I’ve had success in the past w RMN cashback tracking – and paying out – on target gc purchases. Nice extra 2% back on the deal (assuming it works today)

Good tip. I do not need Target GCs today but probably worth a try for anybody ordering. I one time placed an order at Target through RMN for grocery items and it tracked even though most other cashback sites exclude grocery items with Target.

No, because Target is not a grocery store.

It should be Online Shopping, if you buy online.
