This is always a popular deal when it comes along, usually we see it a couple of times a year. Don’t use your Target REDcard to pay since there’s no discount for Target gift card purchases. Discover is offering 5% back at Target.com this quarter.
Did this and somehow got a $10 credit back to my Freedom card from Paypal! I have no idea why. Sweetened the offer for me! I purchased two physical cards to ship to myself, and then I logged into my old Target Circle account(I stopped using it because it was to an old juno email and emails from target don’t come through, including requests to change the email address, so I created a new account with my gmail). That old account had the offer too so I bought another $20 egift card to email to myself for something I forgot I needed in store that day.
So three Target Paypal transactions of $18, $36, and $90 somehow triggered a $10 back to my card.
Also added redcard and promo failed to load. I used chat and they told me to place $500 order then give agent my order # and they credited me the 10% off my discover.. Very nice touch Target
Just confirmed – It is not possible to double dip – I just applied the coupon in store and tried to use it again online and it says coupon already used 🙁

BTW, the double dip did worked for me – I just had to retry after half and hour – Strange!
But relevant to the current thread, I was able to get egift card at 10% off and order my Oculist Quest 2 using that immediately 🙂

Will, amazing tip. Thank you for posting. As a DP, I did have the Red Card already saved to my account and the offer was there as soon as I logged in. I also was able to select another payment type to use my Discover. I’ve already gotten my email confirmation but my e-cards have not been sent yet. Knock on wood my order isn’t cancelled.
P2 also has a RedCard and separate Target.com account (with the offer as well) but I won’t tempt fate and try ordering through hers as well. pigs get fat….hogs get slaughtered. Hope this helps for everyone…….
I clicked the link. Offer unavailable. I have a red card in my account. I tried various reboots etc. I got a pop up from my target app announcing the 10% off. Still unavailable in my account. Chatted with Target. They said we would like to inform you we do not see it in your account. Wtf. Rude.

Blanca, I’ll assume you didn’t mean to write something negative about a group of people, but the “No plastic Chinese junk” part of your comment is likely stereotyping and insensitive, at best, and veering towards racism or some sort of racial epithets or racist trope, at worst. It’s likely to rub many of Chinese descent (and others) the wrong way. Keep in mind, that some of the perceived lower quality stuff from many places offshore, at least from the US’s borders, is not something that the people in the origin country actually even want, but it’s driven by the consumer’s requirement that something be so cheap that there’s less of a way to deliver it at the higher quality we tend to like. Just some food for thought. Rant complete.
People like you can only afford cheap stuff made in China. With your low income, you prob cant afford anything expensive made in China. Period. Go get educated.

How can you liquidate this target card? I dont shop at target at all. Can I buy GC with this?
If you can’t use them, don’t buy them.
The only use for Target gift cards is to use them at Target for merchandise. Or sell them.
