Our Verdict

Not really storewide with that long list of exclusions, but should still be possible to find a good deal. Share anything you buy in the comments below.

My coffee hasn’t kicked in yet. Where does this coupon show up? It’s not showing in my Target app.

Go under “wallet” and click on “show extra offers”.

Your Target app has a button called ‘Show extra offers’ in the wallet?

It’s in the weekly ad in the app & can be added from there, if you can’t see it elsewhere

For the last few years I just wait until Target has the 10% off on gift cards. This year Discover has 5% cash back at Target for Oct Nov Dec. Then I can wait until items go on sale and buy what I want, when I want during the year. Tip: CVS Pharmacy inside of Target accepts Target gift cards. Good way to save 15% on your prescription meds.

I’ll wait until Target has the 10% gift card sale. Then I’ll use my Discover IT card which offers double cashback for the first year. Target just happens to be a 5% category which essentially equals 10% with the double cashback. Then I’ll buy whatever i want. No one item limit or any exclusions.

Usually a limit of $300 during the 10% off gift card sale. I usually max out and spend more than $300 over the year, so this is still a good deal, especially if you have a large ticket item to purchase. Agree the category exclusions are a bummer though.

You mean you only go through the register once? Lol I’ve heard people do over $10k… But then again Target was on a rampage deactivating those gc the last 2 years. Lol
