Our Verdict

They had the the same deal last year, purchasing gift cards did work to trigger the coupon last year (20% can’t be used on gift cards). There is no limit on the 20% coupon making it extremely useful, usually excludes electronics and Apple items.

I haven’t tried gift cards, but it work on T-Mobile refills.
There is a separate deal on those refills also:
But one, get a second @ 20% off, plus another
5% using RedCard.

I’ll try the coupon on yet another refill card on the 3rd.

Does the 20% off for future purchase exclude grocery or household items?

No. That’s what I used it for last year. Those items and clothes are pretty much the best use of that coupon.

Did anyone just buy a Target gift card online for $50 and get the coupon? Last year I heard that worked.

Does Target still do the day when everything is 20% off and does this stack with that?

I think that’s just been 10 percent in the last couple of years.
