The Fine Print

• Coupon good through September 14th, 2019
• Target will accept and recycle all types of car seats, including infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats and car seats that are expired or damaged. Materials from the old car seats will be recycled by Target’s partner, Waste Management.

Our Verdict

Walmart has a similar deal, but they are offering a $30 gift card. The deal you prefer will depend if you can take advantage of this 20% off coupon for more than $30 or not I guess. In the previous deal I learned that these car seats actually have an expiry date due to the plastic used and buying used seats isn’t a good idea. I would have thought that these types of things would just be passed between friends & family but apparently that isn’t the case. Given that trading these seats in for a discount/giftcard makes sense.
