- Amazon is offering some members $50 off a Kindle Paperwhite, making it $69.99. You must add the promo code KINDLE50 to get this deal
Our Verdict
CamelCamelCamel is showing the best price at $89.99, but pretty sure it’s been as low as $79.99 before. This is still $10 cheaper than that though. I have a Kindle Paperwhite and I love it, especially when travelling. Usually I’m reading one paper book at home and then another book on my kindle and then when I travel I use the Kindle exclusively. You can also grab some free books for it currently as well. Don’t forget to further save with Amazon by following this guide. I’m some what tempted to upgrade to the Oasis for the water proofing, but I can’t justify the price tag currently.
Hat tip to Running With Miles
Strike out for me, but thanks for posting. Been trying to convince myself to get a Paperwhite for a while now, and this would have done it for me. Oh well. Hope a lot of people score on this.
Says it’s expired now.
I love my Oasis! I think it is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I am now reading much more and use the Kindle every day, so I think the cost is justified.
Makes sense, I am just cheap I guess.
Thanks for this, I wasn’t targeted, but it’s good to see the price point for the future.
Thanks for the link! I had considered the Oasis but actually went with a Voyage when they had the refurbs for $119. It is a really great upgrade from the Paperwhite. I compared it to the Oasis and I think the like the feel of the Voyage more.
I upgraded from 2010 Kindle keyboard to this Kindle Paperwhite a few weeks ago when Amazon had it for $39.99 (price mistake). I’m happy with the new Kindle so far.
Forgot about that price mistake
I may be old fashioned but an e Reader just can’t beat a real paper book which gives such a warm fuzzy feel and smell of paper & ink.
I read both, I love reading physical books but if I’m travelling sometimes I can go through 4-5 books during a trip. Kindle comes in so handy in those cases.

🙁
Maybe they’re only targeting people who have never bought a paperwhite before?
I have never bought a paperwhite. But I get the same message as you.I had a Kindle earlier.
