Our Verdict
Good deal if you’re targeted. Works out to be 5% back if you spend in increments of $50. Even better if you get reimbursed for business restaurant expenses.
Hat tip to @Milesperday
I got the Hilton email. “Up to 5 times” Does it mean I need to have at least 5 transactions to get’em all? Can I do one transaction which worth $1000 to get 10,000 point in one time?
Got this for 10x on Ascend. So that’s 16x at restaurants.
I assume that’s a cumulative $200 over several visits. Still, I’ll stick with my Discover’s 5% back at restaurants for the quarter without having to hit $200 increments.
I got the hilton deal, but when I click through it errors out.
I got the email title for my Amex Hilton originated from my Citi Hilon with no AF: You’re going to love this offer! (worth up to $50 in Statement Credits!)
Got this offer on my AMEX Hilton Aspire too. Not much to write home about. Although at 7X points (granted Hilton, so not worth a ton), the card’s not bad for regular dining. Not ever gonna beat the AMEX Gold, but it’s solid enough.
I got the offer on my Aspire – spend $200 and get 2,000 points, which is meh.
For me the subject line was:
“You’re going to love this offer! (worth up to 10,000 Hilton Bonus Points!)“
