- American Express is offering some cardholders 1,000 Membership Rewards points when they download the District app by ShopRunner and make a purchase using the app
The Fine Print
- Eligible card members will receive 1,000 MR points after making their first purchase in the District App from ShopRunner on or before December 31, 2018 at 11:59PM EST.
- Eligible Card Members must use their enrolled Card at checkout to receive the additional points. Offer does not apply to customers using Google Wallet, PayPal or Venmo. Points will be awarded within 8 to 12 weeks after receipt by American Express of the eligible purchase information. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to American Express.
Our Verdict
District by Shoprunner lets you shop at 100+ stores and using the same shopping cart for all of them. 1,000 isn’t a huge bonus but you get free shipping so you should be able to find something useful to buy to get the free points.

Saw this yesterday, I believe the app is iOS only
That sucks
The stores suck further with marked up prices. Cheapest men’s item was like $25.
I didn’t receive an email either, if you go to the MR homepage & click the drop down ‘Promotions for You’ it’s there.
