Ordered two $25 sam’s club gift card with non-member surcharge of $2.5 each. After delivered I found both cards with balance of $27…. Weird.
I ordered $30 worth of Sam’s Club gift cards with a 10% markup. I got two credits from Amex, one for $15 (as expected) and one for $4.95. I have no idea where the second one came from, but I’m not complaining.
Ordered a Sams Club physical gift card for the amount of $40. Shipping was for free. The 15 dollar bonus posted several days after the transaction. I did not receive the conformation e-mail. though.

I got the offer on my AmEx personal card. Loaded the offer, and then ordered a 40 dollar Sams Club physical gift card. The transaction was successful, but no confirmation e-mail for the offer so far.
I did something similar with an earlier offer. Never got the email, but the credit did post.
Is there anything to buy without a membership in addition to liquor? We never drink and do not purchase alcohol. I tried to purchase other things, but they did not allow me to checkout without a membership.
Try purchasing a physical Sam’s Club gift card online. The gift cards have Walmart and walmart.com listed on the backside, so should be good able use GCs there.
Fellow Californians: CA residents don’t get charged the 10% non-member fee for online orders.
That almost makes up for all the rest of your surcharges and taxes!
Can I use it for GC?
PSA: SC is required to sell liquor to non-members without the 10% up charge. IDK if you can buy their booze online for pickup.
It depends on the state. Some states require liquor or gas to be outside of member requirements.
AFAIK Applicable in Illinois. YMMV elsewhere.
