The Fine Print
- Offer valid only for prepaid hotel bookings labeled as Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection properties made directly through American Express Travel® online at AmexTravel.com, or through the Amex Travel App™.
- This Offer applies only to eligible bookings that are paid for during the Offer period. Qualifying purchases must total a minimum of $500 by 12/31/2026, in accordance with these terms, to be eligible for a one-time $50 statement credit.
- Excludes car rental or cruise bookings, online chat transactions, flight bookings, flight+hotel packages, gift cards, travel insurance, travelers’ cheques, and all other types of American Express Travel® bookings or purchases not listed as eligible.

Our Verdict
This is a targeted offer on the consumer Platinum card. I don’t see it on mine. This would stack nicely with the $300 FHR credit that the Platinum offers from July through December.
