Got the card in March, spent the required 1k but never got the $150 credit. Apple/Goldman told me they need to make back office inquiries and would be done in 7-10 days. Just called them 12 days later and now they say the back office needs 25 days to make an inquiry. This is total Bs they have my spending and offer letter. Beware of any future offers like this from Apple/Goldman!

I logged in my Credit Karma account today and have this offer.
“Earn a $150 Welcome Bonus when you get a new Apple Card through Credit Karma by April 17th, and spend $1,000+ in your first 90 days.”

I don’t have Apple Card, I assume the welcome bonus won’t stack with Apple Card Monthly Installments.

I signed up for Apple Card via this Credit Karma offer. I received the $150 as soon as the transaction that took my spend over $1000 posted. While the rewards structure for the card isn’t great, I do commend Apple & Goldman Sachs for the transparent sign-up process with credit limit and APR stated before accepting and for the speed in which transactions post, statements are cut and cashback is received (usually within 24 hours, always within 48 hours so far)

recv’d the Apple Card email offering $150 cash back. saw MicroCenter offering their MBA M1 2020 16GB (Z124000FK) model for $999. purchased it using newly acquired Apple Card and applied the $150 cash back along with 2% Daily cash back (card features). Laptop w/ 16GB RAM was basically $850 (before tax).

They had the combo bonus before. Spend $75 at Nike, get $75 daily cash + spend any amount and get $75 which is basically still $150 but with less spend.

The card still sucks.

Wake me up when it’s at least $500 for $4,000 spend…

$150? Throw me an AirPods Max maybe I would consider. Too weak for Apple’s cash reserves

I’m assuming Goldman are under the gun to meet a sign-up quota or something. We all know better, but the target demo for this card will trip over their own feet for $150 in AppleBucks.

In this case it’s mostly Goldman Sachs…which is bleeding red ink on their consumer division.

I got this offer today. Still debating about it, but I’d really prefer $500 or more for a sign up bonus. Not sure if $150 w a hard pull is worth it.

Plus a 5/24 spot? Hard pass. This card could maybe make sense to someone starting out if they are planning on being an Apple user for life. Otherwise, it’s a pass.
