Our Verdict
Fingers crossed these 5x events keep coming (we just had one on dining & movies) now that the card isn’t associated with the NBA and offering 5x during all star weekend and the NBA finals. Maximizing spend at grocery stores usually isn’t difficult.
I got this offer for both my BBVA Amex AND my BBVA Clearpoints visa (2 different emails).
So a max of $600 spend. Aka one $500 VGC. I guess that’s cool. Anyone gonna try to max out the rest organically or w a $50/$100 VGC. Not sure if that extra is worth the fees.
Definitely not worth the fees, as it’s gonna be at least $5 and that’s all you’re getting on the last $100 in spend. But always nice to spend it organically if you can of course 🙂
